Yann Schuyers, born in Oss in 1954, discovered his artistic passion at a young age, creating hand-drawn illustrations for the school newspaper. Driven by an innate desire to create and tell stories through images, he delved into various art forms.

Inspired by science fiction, Yann originally aspired to be an interior architect but ended up studying lithography at the Graphic Lyceum, later earning a master's in art direction and design in Rotterdam.

Throughout his journey, Yann has explored photography, screen printing, drawing, painting, digital art, garden, and furniture design. He shares his

expertise with students at the Free Academy.

As a visual artist, Yann continuously experiments with new techniques and materials. He finds enduring inspiration in the beauty of the female form.

Yann's work has gained recognition, including the World Fashion Award in 2015 for his digital artworks. He continues to seek recognition, aiming to exhibit and sell his art.

He harnesses the power of light and color in his contemporary works, using various techniques and materials inspired by artists like Lita Cabellut, André Maynet, and Louis Treserras. Ideas for new artworks flow from sources such as mythology, fashion, design, architecture, travel, and music.
